Chapter 1: Name

ARTICLE 1-1.    NAME:

The Association shall be known as the "JCI (name of Country)" and hereinafter in this Constitution shall be referred to as the "National Organization.".
COMMENTS ON ARTICLE 1-1:
As stated in the JCI Constitution, Chapter I—Name, Bylaw 1.2, Section 2, APPLICANTS FOR AFFILIATION: all NOMs applying for affiliation or reaffiliation are required to use only the words "JCI" followed by the name of the nation or local community in their names and those of their LOMs.
