JCIPrime Course Overview

This JCIPrime book is designed for use by participants of JCIPrime, Effective Training Skills and Tools. It is not an academic manual on educational theory or learning methodology, but a practical tool to assist Junior Chamber trainers to organize and conduct training courses.

For training to be effective, organized courses must meet certain criteria. The objectives of the course must be clearly specified. The content, timing, place and techniques must be chosen with these clear objectives in mind.

The trainer must be knowledgeable in designing and delivering the course, as well as in evaluating its ultimate effectiveness. Such evaluation must of course take into account the individual needs of members, which is the very basis for training.

Before you apply the material of this book to your training activities, be sure to review its entire contents; there is less chance of forgetting something and having the training become ineffective.
