Delivery Structure
Disponible solamente en Inglés | Version Anglaise Uniquement
The delivery structure of the JCI University is best described in the following model:
The members are trained at different levels in the organization:
LOCAL LEVEL
Most of the training in JCI is conducted at local level. These trainings are the basis in the development of the leaders and entrepreneurs in JCI. The training is ideally always linked to experiences, so that the learning is transformed into skills and methods that the members can immediate implement in their business and/or professional life. At the local level, the trainings focus on all four academies, but mainly on the Core level. JCI University suggests that each LOM has a VP assigned to training and development and that a committee is established to survey the needs of the members and to arrange the necessary trainings.
NATIONAL LEVEL
On the National level, the training is given within the four academies. Most of the training is given with the perspective of gathering members from different local networks with the same need. The trainings can obtain points in the JCI University if the objectives and the evaluation procedure are approved by the JCI certification Committee. At the national level, the training consists of both Core and Electives. JCI University recommends that NOMs elects/appoints a senior officer (VP or EVP) to lead the Individual Area of Opportunity and that the NOM establish a Training Institute (TI). The officer in charge of IND should have the following minimum responsibilities:
- Set direction for the Training Institute in cooperation with the NOM Board

CONGRESS & CONFERENCES

At the congress, there will be a focus on knowledge sharing amongst equally based members in differentiated workshops, where members are selected by their experience in business and JCI. All trainings will be given in one of the three levels:
- Core Level
- Advanced Level
- Executive Level
The learning level is based on the members experience in business and JCI. By letting like-minded members share experience and grow together JCI will be able to maximize the effect of the training and learning.
On both conferences and the congress there will be an opportunity to follow "conferences within the conference" where you can go into depth with a topic. All conferences within a conference are followed by a curriculum of materials that can be read and studied after the conference and there will be a process of certification for the participants. The certification is based on implementation in the members business and local/national networks afterwards. Certification is based on a short paper describing how they have used the content in their daily life.
